“When I first joined the GSM team here in Brecon in 2003 it was as a press operator in our stamping department. Though I really enjoyed the work I wanted to understand more about our products and processes and to progress inside the business . So when the chance came up to work in both our printing and badge assembly areas I seized on it. After a period of time I was promoted to lead operator before eventually becoming a Team Leader with 29 people reporting directly to me. Today , I’m leading a great team assembling our innovative illuminated product. I sometimes reflect on how far I’ve come but at GSM it’s what lies ahead that really grabs my imagination.”
