Rob Ashmeade – Chief Financial Officer
Rob Ashmeade FCMA joined the GSM Leadership team in April, 2017. With a wealth of experience in working within multinational manufacturing companies Rob’s focus is on ensuring that GSM continues to manage its risk portfolio effectively such that the growth path of GSM will be maintained and the stakeholders of GSM will receive the focused data they require in a timely and compliant manner.
Ian Busby – General Manager, Witney Manufacturing Site
Ian Busby is at the helm of GSM’s Witney manufacturing site. With a career that extends back over 35 years, his intimate knowledge of both product and process has enabled him to drive operational excellence and world-class quality into the very heart this manufacturing site.
Diane Dick - Human Resources Manager - Global Operations
Diane Dick (Assoc CIPD) joined GSM Automotive in October 2017. With 20 years in HR Management, 14 of those in a global manufacturing and automotive environment, her focus will be in the development of our team members through motivating and empowering each, to play their part in the delivery the company’s global growth strategy. At GSM Automotive our number one asset is the people who work for us.
Andrew Farthing – Chief Executive Officer
Andrew Farthing sits at the head of an experienced Leadership Team. With an engineering and operational background gained in the automotive industry he has led GSM Automotive from a European manufacturer to one which now boasts a global footprint. As a board member Andrew does not merely oversee GSM’s multiple manufacturing sites but also has the responsibility for developing and implementing GSM’s strategic plans for the future.
Edward Matthysen – Vice President, Global Operations
Edward Matthysen joined GSM Automotive in 2019 with a background of senior level positions held with global Tier 1 companies internationally. With a strong focus on operations, lean systems and product launch he has been able to bring essential operational direction to GSM Automotive, with a focus on the companies fast growing global operations in mainland Europe and the USMC region.
Dave Myatt – Vice President, Engineering
Dave Myatt joined GSM in the early part of 2015, having previously occupied senior level positions within a global Tier 1 automotive company. With a background that is steeped in the delivery of innovative complex electronic and mechanical solutions, he has led the rapid expansion of a multi-national engineering team that is able to support GSM’s expanding global customer base.
Brian Reilly – Senior Vice President, Business Development & Strategy
Brian Reilly joined GSM Automotive in 2010 with a background of senior level positions held with global Tier 1 companies both in the UK and overseas.With a focus on customer and product diversification, globalisation and profitable growth he has been able to bring a business acumen that continues to challenge GSM to meet or exceed the exacting requirements of both current and prospective customer.
Sandra Riley – Vice President, Global MP&L
Sandra Riley joined GSM in 2017 having previously spent for 20years working for several leading global automotive companies. With a wealth of knowledge, Sandra leads and guides a logistics division which connects critical components of the GSM supply chain from a product’s point of origin to its point of consumption across our global manufacturing sites. At GSM we pride ourselves in not merely meeting our customers’ expectations but in exceeding then. Our global logistics team drives this through ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of goods from producers to consumers in the most cost effect manner.
Tim Starling – General Manager, Brecon Manufacturing Site
Having gained extensive experience in an Engineering role within the 1st Tier Automotive industry, Tim joined the company in 1997 in an operational role. As the General Manager for GSM’s site in Brecon he now oversees a facility of over 100 team members which more than any, reflects the expansive portfolio of the business. Tim’s previous positions within GSM Automotive include Vice President – Global Purchase.
Larisa Vinatoru – Vice President, Global Purchasing
Having joined GSM Automotive in 2017 Larisa Vinatoru sits at the head of an experienced forward sourcing and purchasing team. With a senior purchasing and supply chain background within several Tier 1 multinational automotive companies her main focus is and will remain on adding value to the business by creating and developing partnerships with those suppliers that will contribute to the delivery of the GSM vision.
